Searching for programs

How do I find a class?
Finding a class through the JCC of Greater Washington online registration is easy! Step 1 is to click the button on the JCC website that reads, “Class Program & Registration”. Once you click this, a window will appear and you can search for programs using the search menu on the left:

  • Option 1. Keyword Search.
    Type in what you are looking for, click the green button and we’ll display the program results.
  • Option 2. Interest and Sub-Interest Search. ¬†

From the drop down menu, select the type of programs you are interested in such as “Aquatics” from the list and we’ll display all aquatics classes for you.

  • Option 3. “Choose your own search”
    Begin your search by choosing from 3 choices. “Age”, “Days”, or “Time”. Then narrow your search by making your selections. When the final selection is made, click update search and your search results will be displayed.

How can I further refine my search?
The left column of the search results page displays options for further search refinement. For Age, Days or Time Search click the ¬†green plus symbol and a box will pop up with more options. In this box, you may choose to check various selections to narrow your search. Each time you click “Update Search”, your results will automatically be modified based on your selections. You may later remove these items from the search refinement by clicking the red “x” below the search option. You can also click red button to Clear All search filters.
How do I return to Online Program Registration Home Page?
You can click on Programs List link located at the top right hand corner to return to our Registration home page at any time.
What happens if a class is listed as full?
You can email us at: and we will notify our program staff of your interest. If a space opens in the program, staff will contact you about registration or suggest an alternate program based on your interests. You can also choose to add yourself to the wait list and we will contact you when a spot becomes available.
Account Information

Am I required to have an account to register for programs or make payments online?
Yes. An online account is necessary to transact and register online. You can search for programs without an account but will be prompted to sign-in or register for an account before accessing our cart feature. This is a quick and easy process.
How do I create an online account?
You will be prompted to create a new account during your first program registration or transaction using JCC’s new online system. You may also sign up for a new account by clicking the “Sign in to your account” link found at the top, right hand side of the screen in the registration system. You will be required to provide a valid email address as you user ID and your login password will need to be at least 6 characters long.
How do I change my User ID and/or password?
After you are signed in, click the “(Name's) account” link found at the top, right hand side of the screen. Once on your account screen, you will have the opportunity to change your log-in information and edit other account information.
What if I forget my password?
From the sign in screen, click the "Password Help” link. You will be asked for the email address that is associated with your account. The password on file for your account will promptly be sent to this email address. You will not be required to reset your password.
Why can’t my e-mail address be used by more than one person in the JCC Online Registration system?
For security purposes, every e-mail address must be unique because it is used to access your account and personal information. It is also the address that will be used to confirm your online transactions.

How long is a class reserved for me once added to the cart?
Once a program is added to the cart, you have 60 minutes to complete your transaction. Please note, that program registration is not considered complete until you have completed the check-out process and made your payment.
Can I remove an item in the cart?
Yes. You can remove programs individually from the cart summary screen by clicking on the corresponding program delete icon-”Red X” button. Please note that programs will be deleted immediately without further prompt.
How long will items remain in the cart if not purchased?
Your items will remain in the cart for 14 days, but only reserved for the first 60 minutes. Your spot in a program will not be reserved after the initial 60 minutes until your transaction is completed.


What payment methods does JCC accept online?
Only credit card payments are accepted online. JCC of Greater Washington accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.
What if I want to pay through a different method?
If you prefer to pay by check or cash, you will need to complete a paper registration form available in our program guide and send it to us by mail or drop it off at our registration drop-box located conveniently near the JCCGW Front Desk. You can also access the registration form online, click here. We do not accept any other forms of payment except credit cards online.
How do I get a refund or make changes to a program I’ve already signed up for?
Refunds or program changes must be handled directly through JCC of Greater Washington staff. Please refer to the contact information displayed on your e-mail confirmation.

How do I know my registration was successful?
After submitting payment, you will be taken to a confirmation screen. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation at the address listed on your account. If you do not receive your e-mail confirmation, or if you have any questions, please contact us at and you will receive a response within 24 business hours. Our hours are M-F 9AM-5PM EST. Note: You will not receive an automatic reply from this mailbox, but we will respond to your message as soon as possible.
